Course Description

Cornrow and Latch Hook Crochet Braid Extensions

Cornrows are a type of hairstyle in which the hair is braided into a series of small, tight braids that are closely attached to the scalp.  They are a popular protective hairstyle because they help to prevent breakage and damage to the hair by keeping it neatly braided and out of the way. Additionally, cornrows can be worn for several weeks, making them a low-maintenance and convenient hairstyle option.

Install Crochet Braids

A latch hook installation is a type of hair extension technique in which crochet hair extensions are attached to the natural hair using a latch hook tool. Unlike a weaves and box braids, a crochet needle is used to pull sections of the natural hair through small loops in the hair extensions, securing them in place. The installation process involves creating cornrow braids along the scalp, and then attaching the hair extensions to these braids using the latch hook technique (crochet method). Depending on the style,  you can add length, volume or curly hair onto the natural hair and keep your hair protected.
